This week we are celebrating two great city break locations, conveniently the two P’s! Paris and Prague are amongst the most popular places in Europe to take a city break and at Roomguide we have over 1000 cheap hotels in Paris, from spa hotels to more basic guest houses. Paris has always been a popular destination for romance and fun and whether you want to experience French culinary excellence or simply stand by the Eiffel Tower, we’ll guarantee you are located at the centre of it all! This week we are also celebrating one of the newest places that is fast becoming a favourite for European city breaks, Prague. We have over 500 luxury and cheap hotels in Prague, situated in the heart of the beautiful city all offering guests a real treat in the way of comfort, relaxation and stunning architecture.

Visiting Paris and not seeing the Eiffel Tower is unheard of and even if you do not want to visit it, you will most certainly see its top from all over Paris. You can also indulge in French cuisine at the Eiffel Tower which is a unique experience in itself! If you’re a lover of art, put the Louvre Museum at the top of your list! It is most famous for hosting the Venus di Milo and the Mona Lisa but you will also find much in the way of historic and contemporary art. A city break in Paris offers something for everyone; whether you want to relax on a boat along the river Seine, visit the numerous tourist attractions including the Arc de Triomphe and Notre Dame Cathedral or take a stroll down the Champs Élysées where you can enjoy a croissant and coffee in the numerous cafés. There are plenty of cheap hotels in Paris, located near to famous attractions, restaurants and nightlife.

If you would like a cheap hotel near to the Eiffel Tower we highly recommend the Hôtel Eiffel Rive Gauche situated just 5 minutes away and if you fancy something a bit more expensive the Sezz Paris offers 4 star accommodation opposite the famous landmark!

You may think the Czech capital is not for you, but we promise you after a couple of days you’ll fall in love with the place! Cobblestone streets, redtop roofs and beautiful architecture is what awaits you in this stunning city! Prague is fast becoming one of top places to take a city break for friends, families and couples. You will find much in the way of history and culture in the form of fascinating churches and the magnificent Castle district and taking a walk through the Old Town Square is a must! The square is the home to the spires of the Týn Church and the Astronomical Clock on the Old Town Hall. Cheap hotels in Prague are in large supply and staying for a few days is the perfect amount of time to explore the city. The best way to get around the city is by foot to ensure you don’t miss a thing! Another way that you definitely should take is a riverboat trip on the Vltava River where you can relax and take in breath-taking views of the cityscape. What is great about the city is its mixture of both old and new.

Wenceslas Square is the hub of the city’s shopping and nightlife scene with great shops, lively bars, music clubs and tasty restaurants; it’s the perfect place to stop for a refreshing Czech beer. For a cheap hotel in the centre, stay at Hotel Oya and to be close to the city’s nightlife we recommend the Machova.
