Christmas markets are an absolute must when visiting and staying in cheap hotels in Bristol. There is a great variety in Bristol to choose from that sell a variety of items. The markets available to visit are The Bristol German Christmas Market And The Local Christmas Market. Whether you are coming to visit Bristol with friends, family or as a couple, heading to the markets are a must. The variety of markets open from 10 am to 8pm daily, shutting at 7pm on a Sunday. Each market includes food and drink, entertainment, disabled access and toilet facilities. Both markets are also free of charge.

The Bristol German Christmas Market

Opening on Friday 9th November, this market features up to 40 decorated chalets selling traditional German Christmas decorations, lights, nativity scenes and gifts which include wooden toys, baskets, soaps, lamps and amber jewellery to name a few. Here, you can also sample delicious festive food and drink which is on offer including bratwurst, waffles, liquorice, chocolates and cakes. It is open every day until the last day in December and is open from 10am-7pm.

The Local Christmas Market

Open from Thursday 6th December, the Christmas Local Market is home to local makers and producers who sell a tempting selection of hand-made jewellery, glassware, photographs, fairy lights, jewellery and Christmas decorations. Don’t forget to stock up on Christmas delicacies which include local cider, beers, cakes, cheese, chutneys, biscuits, garlands and chestnuts. The Local Christmas Market is open every day from 6th December until 23rd December from 10am until 4pm.  Make sure to visit one of the markets and bring treats home for all the family.
