Cheap Hotels in Brighton for the Food and Drink Festival

Not only is it British Food Fortnight, the Brighton and Hove Food and Drink Festival is well underway. Held in April and September, the festival is a month celebration of the great food and drink to be found in the city.  Now in its 8th year, it is the largest festival of its kind in the south of England, giving growers and producers the opportunity to showcase their food and drink. It also allows restaurants, pubs, cafes, bars and hotels to host their own events. Just to coincide nicely with the food celebrations, Roomguide are offering special September offers on cheap hotels in Brighton, so you can stay for a few days and indulge in culinary excellence!

Churchill Square Farmers Market & Live Food Kitchen

Every Wednesday in September from 11am – 4pm, the Live Food Kitchen returns to Churchill Square. Stalls from the weekly farmers market, and the best chefs from some of Brighton’s restaurants will be showing you how to make dishes and products yourself including cakes, jams, chutneys, paella and curries.

Live Jazz and Cocktails at The Grand

Thursdays in September are all about relaxing with a cocktail and the sound of live jazz.   To celebrate the festival, the Grand’s Cocktail Happy Hour offers guests selected drinks at £5 until 10.30pm!

Secret Supper Club: Dining in the Dark

On a Friday in September, from 6pm – 8.30 pm you can experience a 3 course feast in the dark at Madame Geisha. Start the evening with a surprise cocktail and then sit back and be tantalised whilst the chefs create 3 courses of Asian delight that you can enjoy blindfolded!

Faulty Towers: The Dining Experience

From 27th September to 2nd October, visitors to the Brighton and Hove Food and Drink Festival can experience all the best gags and great food in the Faulty Towers Dining Experience. The fun starts as soon as the audience are seated in the restaurant of the Faulty Towers hotel and then for 2 hours its Sybil, Basil and Manuel serving up your three course meal!
