Some rooms at Merchants Hotel overlook Piccadilly Gardens, and all have a TV and facilities for making tea coffee. Many have en suite facilities, while there are shared toilets and washbasins on each floor of the hotel, and a shared shower room on the third floor.
The bed and breakfast has an on-site internet facility for guests, which is open till late. A continental breakfast is served in the morning, or alternatively a range of restaurants and cafés can be reached in under 10 minutes' walk.

From Saturday to Thursday, the hotel reception is open from 07:30 to 22:00. Guests who would like to stay out later than this time may obtain a key/card to the main door for a deposit. The deposit will be returned upon production of a valid receipt.
Reception is open all night on Fridays.
