Hotel information
The building was once a family residence, designed by Thomas Cubitt in 1882. It has been given Grade II Listed status because of its architectural distinction. On entering, there is a glass-domed stairwell housing a magnificent spiral staircase.
Food & beverage
As well as breakfast, the Coffee Lounge offers morning and afternoon teas and a snack menu. During the summer months, the patio area is an inviting place to have breakfast.

There are plenty of great restaurants in the area surrounding the hotel, with something to suit all tastes and any budget. Just 5 minutes walk from the hotel, Kinnerton Street is a quaint thoroughfare lined with pubs and inns rich in original character and traditional charm.

By Air (from London Gatwick Airport):
The hotel is approximately 25 miles (40 km) from London Gatwick Airport. The Gatwick Express train service runs regularly to London Victoria Station. This journey will take approximately 30 minutes. The hotel is just a short walk from Victoria station and taxis are also readily available from just outside the station.
By Air (from London Heathrow Airport):
The hotel is approximately 14 miles (23 km) from London Heathrow Airport. The Piccadilly line (dark blue) of the London Underground runs directly from the airport to Knightsbridge London Underground station, with a journey time of approximately 40 minutes.
