Originally built as a farmhouse in 1672, the Fieldhead is situated on the edge of Charnwood Forest, just 7 miles from Leicester and 1 mile from Junction 22 of the M1.
Built from local stone, this charming traditional inn was a working farm until the 1980s. Now, it has a cosy restaurant, a bar and a terrace for guests to enjoy.
The seasonal menus offer a wide selection of modern and traditional British favourites, from hearty main courses to lighter snacks. A selection of real ales, carefully selected wines and special teas and coffees are also available.
The hotel offers 28 comfortable en suite rooms, each of which is individually decorated with its own unique charm. Guests can make use of free Wi-Fi in the hotel rooms and in public areas of the building.
Whether you are exploring the region as a tourist or visiting the area on business, the Fieldhead has a relaxed and inviting atmosphere, mouth-watering food and cosy rooms.

The Fieldhead Hotel originally a working farm until the early 1980's when it was converted to a public house.
The building has maintained many of its original features giving it a warm and cosy atmosphere. The oldest parts of the Hotel date back as early as 1672 which now is used as one of our two conference rooms. The conference facilities that we offer can cater from one to one meetings, to anything up to 60 theatre style. We also have the equipment to meet all of your requirements and can offer either a working lunch or a full sit down meal in our beautiful restaurant. Our menus offer everything from sandwiches and lite bites to succulent steaks cooked to your liking. We are renowned for our helpful and friendly staff that would be more than happy to help you in reaching your requirements.
The Fieldhead is in easy reach of all major cities in the midlands and is only 1 mile from junction 22 of the M1 motorway. We are also within 7 miles of Leicester city centre which offers everybodies needs for shopping, nights out and more.
Deposits must be taken for group bookings.

Here at the Fieldhead Hotel we have 28 en- suite non smoking rooms all tastefully decorated for you to enjoy in comfort. There are 13 rooms on the ground floor, 3 of which have the ability to cater for dogs to come and stay with their owners. Within the hotel there are 4 feature rooms including a four poster and one with a super king sized sleigh bed. In every room there is a wide screen television with built in dvd players, and the four feature rooms also contain free view boxes for a little extra entertainment.

The Fieldhead has a great location from which to explore all that the region has to offer, from the outstanding natural beauty of Charnwood Forest to the shops and attractions of Leicester. The very heart of Leicester's city centre is just 7 miles (11 km) from the hotel. The city's exciting National Space Centre is 11 miles (18 km) from the hotel. The award-winning centre is the UK's largest attraction dedicated to space, space travel and exploration and is fascinating and fun for all the family.

By road: The hotel is on the A50, 1 mile from the M1 (J22) towards Leicester. Turn left at the roundabout for the car park. By rail: Just 8 miles from Leicester station with frequent services from London and Birmingham. By air: The Nottingham East Midlands airport is approximately 16 miles away via the M1.
