Prague hotels

You will understand why people fall in love with this city simply by strolling along the cobblestone streets, observing the beautiful architecture, the fascinating churches and the magnificent Castle district. Cheap hotels in Prague are in large supply and staying for a few days is the perfect amount of time to explore the city. One of the best ways to get around the city is by foot and a great place to start is at heart of Prague’s historical centre, in the Old Town Square which boasts the gothic spires of the Týn Churchand theAstronomical Clock on the Old Town Hall. Prague Castle is one of the city’s premier attractions and although you won’t actually find a castle, you will have the pleasure of exploring an impressive complex, which includes the Old Royal Palace, three churches, and a monastery.Strolling across Charles Bridge brings not only stunning views of the thousand spires that line the city, it leads the way from the Old Town to Mala Strana. Spend some time onKampa Island, near to Charles Bridge by walking through the beautiful park and enjoying the views of the picturesque houses and Vltava River.

Another major attraction in Prague is the Jewish Quarter, comprising the Maisel Synagogue, the Pinkas Synagogue, the Spanish Synagogue, the Old Jewish Cemetery and the Ceremonial Hall. The Old-New Synagogue is the oldest working synagogue in Central Europe. While the city centre is a mixture of stunning architecture, from Gothic, Renaissance and baroque to neoclassical, art nouveau and cubist, beyond the medieval lanes of the Old Town and the Castle District, there is an entire cosmopolitan city to explore. Wenceslas Square is the main shopping area and the hub of the city’s nightlife – with lively bars, music clubs and great restaurants; it’s the perfect place to stop for a refreshing Czech beer. This popular city is fast becoming one of the most popular tourist destinations in Europe. Offering a mixture of both old and new, there really is something for everyone.
